Missouri River Relief is a small but mighty 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people to the Missouri River through hands-on, on-the-river stewardship, education, and recreation. Since 2001, we have been growing and deepening our impact throughout the Missouri River Valley from St. Louis to Omaha, NE. We are known for hosting large, efficient, impactful river clean-up events with hundreds of volunteers. Our experiential education programs have served over 30,000 students since 2001, bringing many of those students to the river for the first time. Our recreation programs, including river excursions, floats, and races, continue to grow in participation and diversity, and in 2020 we added the MR340 paddling race to our family of recreation events.
AmeriCorps is the federal agency connecting individuals and organizations through service and volunteering to tackle the nation's most pressing challenges.
