Missouri River Relief is providing a virtual excursion on the Missouri River, where every moment brings a new experience. Our virtual field trip incorporates spectacular views of limestone bluffs, eagles' nests, and prehistoric artwork, as well as insider’s knowledge about the river imparted by our crew.
Missouri River Detectives is a video-based resource that is driven by questions from real students to help guide classroom exploration of the Missouri River.
We combine place-based education and inquiry-based science for both formal and informal educators in our professional development programs. These programs can range from a half-day to multi-day workshops on how to effectively integrate the Missouri River into your student's lives and communities.
All professional development opportunities include invitations for educators to practice new skills, collaborate with their peers, and apply learning to classroom lesson plans.
