Missouri River Cleanup with WaterOne 2026

We teamed up with WaterOne and their employees out of LaBenite Park to kick off our Big Muddy Clean Sweep project! Teams headed to three cleanup sites along the river, tackling the bankside trash despite a hot day that forced us to cut the work a little short.
Even with the heat, our volunteers didn’t waver. In just a couple of hours, 18 WaterOne volunteers removed 43 bags of trash, a refrigerator, a 55-gallon blue barrel, and plenty more from the riverbanks.
We’re grateful to WaterOne for joining us for a day of stewardship on the river for the second year in a row and for supporting our Big Muddy Clean Sweep efforts. A big muddy thank you to everyone who showed up and dug in!
