There are all kinds of programs going on throughout the year including river cleanups, paddle races and education programs. Scroll down to view our full event schedule.

2026 MRR Schedule
- February 21 – MRR Awards Banquet
- March 1 – River Road Cleanup
- April 22 - EARTH DAY - Flat Branch Creek Cleanup - Columbia
- April 24 – Missouri River Days with Booneville
- April 27, 29 & May 1 – Missouri River Days with Columbia
- June 2, 4, 9, 11, 16 & 18 – Mornings at the River
- July 6 - 10 – Missouri River Adventure Camp
- July 28-31 –Missouri American Water MR340 - Hosted by Missouri River Relief, this 340-mile race across the state of Missouri from Kansas City to St. Charles is the world's longest nonstop river paddling race.
- August 10 - October 4 – Big Muddy Clean Sweep - A series of river cleanups starting in Kansas City and ending at Cooper's Landing.
- September 14, 16, 18 – Missouri River Days with Columbia
- September 24 – JobPoint Stewardship Event
- October 3 – Race to the Dome - Hosted by Missouri River Relief. You can pick 16 or 26 miles - from either Providence or Hartsburg to Jefferson City ending at Wilson's Serenity Point at Noren Access.
- October 10 – 25th Anniversary Party - Cooper's Landing
- October 8 – Missouri River Days with Southern Boone
- October 13, 14, 16 – Missouri River Days with Jefferson City

- August 22 – Operation Clean Stream - Every August, volunteers take to the Meramec River and its tributaries to clean it up, 58 years and counting!
- August 22 – Race for the Rivers
- Sept. 19-23 – Paddle MO -Missouri River Trip
- Oct. 10-12 – Paddle MO - Black River Trip

We would not be where we are without this homegrown, grassroots crew of volunteers!
Our crew puts in countless hours each year planning, training, and putting on events across five states of the Missouri River. We are always excited to welcome new volunteers to the crew. Trash Mobs
We are encouraging individuals to get their “pod” together and form their own “Trash Mob”, or individual cleanup. Check out our webpage about Trash Mobs and how you can take to the streets and streams to make a difference in your watershed! All of these streams and tributaries drain into the Missouri River.
