Following the Washington Missouri River Clean-up will be a full day of music, presentations, educational exhibits and kid's activities at the pavilion in Washington Park. Here's a schedule of entertainment followed by a full list of exhibitors.

Entertainment -

World Bird Sanctuary - 10:30 until 11:15
Features birds of prey including falcons, hawks owls and vultures. Sit back and enjoy an up close and personal view as some of the birds soar right over head!

River Songs - 11:30 until noon
Hear traditional river songs sung in beautiful harmony accompanied by the talented, local musicians of Peace Lutheran Church (The Church Ladies).

Babaloo - Noon until 12:45
Babaloo, also known as Rob Compton, gets kids smiling and singing in his controlled chaos and shameless style with his powerful voice and guitar playing. After hearing Babaloo, you’ll be singing and smiling for days.

Greg Krone and Wayne Roy 1 pm until 1:30 pm
Great Irish fiddling and guitar playing by these entertaining, lively, local musicians. They’ll get your toes tapping!

Augusta Bottoms Consort 2 pm until 3 pm
ABC’s been singing and playing songs inspired by the river and its surroundings for a long time! Tight harmonies, original songs and interesting arrangements flow out of this unique local band.

River Jam 3 pm until we stop
Join us for more music and invite your friends to bring their instruments and voices for a spontaneous celebration of music, words and gifts we all share.

Exhibitors

11:00 a.m. to 4:00 P.M. in the Washington Riverfront Park Pavilion
Washington Historical Society--information and exhibits on the Missouri River Bridge in Washington and interesting stories of the river in our community.

The Greenway Network--Educational fun from our St. Charles neighbors. Water quality sampling, a sun print activity for children and also information on macroinvertebrates.

Leftovers, etc. will provide a number of fun, educational projects to create from reusable items. Leftovers, Etc. is a resource and learning center focusing on teaching children and adults how to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Saint Louis/Midwest Turtle & Tortoise Society - rescues, rehabilitates and releases sick and injured turtles and re-educates humans. See and touch their collection of live turtles!

Washington Public Library--Bugs! Tents! River stuff! Library staff will share books about nature for people of all ages in a fun and creative way.

Hillermann’s Nursery & Florist--Talk Native with the native plant buyer at Hillermann’s. She will also have native plants available for sale. Grow Native! They are not just weeds in the field, they’re our heritage.

The Open Space Council --Come see snippets of The Open Space Council’s new film on the Meramec River and hear tunes from a CD of river songs they have produced. This organization works to conserve and sustain land, water and other natural resources through many projects including Operation Clean Stream and Operation Wild Lands.

U.S. Geological Survey --Did you know that Asian carp are invading our rivers and that the Pallid Sturgeon fish is endangered? Find out why this is important to us from scientists at USGS.

“From the Bottom Up” book signing -- Co-author Jeff Barrow will sign and sell copies of the inspiring biography of Chad Pregracke, the river clean-up guy for the Mississippi River basin.

Missouri Master Naturalists Program-- Its mission is to engage Missourians in the stewardship of our state’s natural resources through science-based education and community service.

Missouri Water Patrol-- Stay safe on the river! Information on water safety.

Area High School Students--River painting collage, face painting and other activities.

Botanical Walk with Bill Davit-- Enjoy a walk with a local botanical expert and learn about the great variety of plants growing along our River Front Trail.
